Satnam Studio Presents: Retreats package rates are in USD per person. After checking out on our website via Stripe payment handling, a confirmation will be emailed to you, indicating your booking has been secured. Payments are accepted via Stripe in USD (with options to pay via debit/credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay). We cannot accept any other currencies or direct bank transfers. Some banks or payment processors may charge fees for processing international payments or other transaction-related services. Any such fees are the responsibility of the payor (customer) and not Satnam Studio. We recommend checking with your bank or payment provider to understand the fees they may impose. By making a payment to Satnam Studio, you acknowledge and agree to these terms regarding conversion rates and bank fees. We encourage you to review your payment method and confirm the total payment amount before completing your entrance to this portal with us. Due to limited availability on each retreat, we require full payment at the time of booking to reserve a space for all bookings. We do not offer payment plans, partial payments, or any form of installment payments.
It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and while no one plans to cancel or delay their retreat, please review our booking terms and conditions, including our cancellation policy.
Definitions: "Cancellation" is defined as not attending your specifically reserved date of any Satnam Studio Presents: Retreats package, including postponing or rescheduling. "You" refers to the guest booking a Satnam Studio Presents: Retreat. "We" refers to Satnam Studio.
If you cancel (change or postpone) your booked retreat date, Satnam Studio does not offer refunds for any reason. A portion of your payment, at Satnam Studio's discretion upon discussion with you, may be used as credit for another retreat date and package. In this instance, the reviewed dollar amount of the credit will be applied at the time of rebooking. We will gladly transfer your credit to the name of another person upon your arrangement of that transfer. Depending on when you cancel, cancellation penalties may apply. Fees and credit amounts are determined based on timeframes at Satnam Studio's discretion and subject to discussion. Please note that any credit dollar amount from a cancellation will be applied to a retreat's current rate at the time of rebooking. Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early on your booked Satnam Studio Presents: Retreats package.
In these terms and conditions, "content" means material (including, without limitation, text, images, audio material, video material, and audio-visual material) that you post, submit, or share during your time at this retreat. By posting, submitting, or sharing this content, you grant Satnam Studio an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute your user content in any existing or future media relating to the promotion of this or future retreats. You also grant Satnam Studio the right to sub-license these rights and the right to bring an action for infringement of these rights. Your content must not be illegal or unlawful, must not infringe any third party's legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action, whether against you, Satnam Studio, or a third party (in each case under any applicable law).
During your time at the retreat organized by Satnam Studio and facilitated by Lauren Glading and Gurnimit Singh, it is explicitly understood and agreed that Satnam Studio, Lauren Glading, and Gurnimit Singh assume no responsibility for any liability, injury, loss, damage, or expense related to your participation and presence at the retreat, both within the scheduled sessions and any free time spent at the retreat and venue.
Travel Insurance coverage is mandatory to attend a Satnam Studio Presents: Retreats. Simple medical assistance is costly overseas, so it is mandatory to have travel insurance to cover this should the need arise. Most importantly, please ensure your insurance policy covers you for all relevant activities during your Satnam Studio retreat stay and in your free time, especially any action sports like surfing, hiking, cycling, or rafting. We suggest obtaining travel insurance that covers cancellations to provide peace of mind should you need to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances.
If you are struggling with a pre-existing substance dependence, eating disorder, psychological conditions such as phobias or traumas, or significant medical conditions, please note that Satnam Studio Presents: Retreats is not a medical or rehabilitation facility. We do not provide medical or psychological recovery or rehabilitation assistance for any of these issues. Therefore, we respectfully request that you inform us of any such conditions at the time of booking.
If Satnam Studio Presents: Retreats is forced to cancel a booked retreat date, you have two options: you can transfer your full payment to another retreat package and date, or request a full refund of your payment. Satnam Studio Presents: Retreats is not responsible for any expenses incurred by you in preparation for the retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
